Ambrus Studio secured multi-million funding led by The Spartan Group and will soon launch its first Telegram game, E4C: Demon Hunter

Ambrus Studio recently completed a multi-million dollar Series A funding round, led by Spartan Group, with participation from top-tier investors including IVC, SUI Foundation, Knight Capital, Goodwater Capital, and ZeePrime Capital. On September 16th, Ambrus studio will launch their first Telegram-based game, E4C: Demon Hunter.

Ambrus Studio is set to introduce the E4C platform, a Web3 game incubation hub focused on developing and nurturing high-quality blockchain-based games. With a long-term, sustainable growth strategy, Ambrus aims to cater to both Web2 and Web3 gamers. Demon Hunter, the first Telegram mini-app game under E4C, marks a significant milestone in Ambrus Studio’s long-term vision.

About Ambrus Studio

Ambrus Studio was founded in December 2021 by former Riot Games Asia-Pacific CEO Johnson Yeh, with the vision of creating a gaming ecosystem that enhances the experience for Web2 players, ultimately making Web3 technology mainstream in the gaming industry. “Even when we founded our studio more than three years ago, we do not believe in pure play-to-earn.” said Johnson Yeh, “We have always focused on how to leverage blockchain technology and web3 elements to enhance player experience and to solve gaming industry problems. We decided to leverage web3 to make free-to-play games profitable for studios in nascent emerging markets. We aspire to be the first studio dedicated to fun gaming experience in these underserved markets like South Asia, emerging Middle East and Africa.”

The team at Ambrus Studio consists of veterans from leading game companies like Riot Games, Tencent, and miHoYo, and has already established partnerships with well-known game platforms such as Nazara, TapTap, and Rockville Games. In the Web3 space, Ambrus Studio is deeply integrated with the rapidly growing Sui ecosystem. To learn more, please visit ambrus.studio.

E4C: Demon Hunter

Demon Hunter is a top-down action shooter developed by Ambrus Studio, featuring Sehk, a mercenary character from E4C: Final Salvation. Sehk hunts demons and monsters with her crossbow. The gameplay is straightforward—she automatically attacks when standing still, while players dodge enemy projectiles and strike back during movement. The main challenge lies in skillfully avoiding attacks while eliminating enemies. Players can also earn extra rewards by watching ads. Progress in the game translates into a “Combat Power” score, which will be linked to future E4C airdrops.

Demon Hunter sets itself apart from the popular Tap-To-Earn games currently trending on Telegram by offering high playability and more comprehensive game design. Players must rely on their skills to progress through levels and increase their combat power, making the game more challenging and rewarding for those with advanced techniques. Additionally, Demon Hunter plans to introduce a PVP mode, providing even more excitement and variety to the gameplay experience for players.

There will be two types of assets in the game: Gold Coins and Bits. Players can earn Bits by inviting friends and watching ads, which will help them progress through levels more easily and receive in-game rewards, including weapon upgrade materials and Gold Coins. Gold Coins can be used to craft items or purchase runes that enhance combat power.

E4C Platform

E4C is more than just a game publishing platform. Ambrus Studio aims to develop E4C into a comprehensive gaming hub that integrates game incubation, publishing, community building, mission center and more. Ambrus Studio will be unveiling more major announcements about the E4C Platform in the near future.
