SBI Holdings Partners with SMFG to Offer Digital Banking Services

Major Japanese financial organization, Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group is collaborating with SBI Holdings to enhance its digital footprint in the country. 

According to the latest reports, the Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG) is collaborating with SBI Holdings to introduce a digital banking system accessible from smartphones. This is a part of a multimillion-dollar agreement, that is expected to materialize bu next week. 

The deal will provide SMFG with a 20% equity stake in SBI subsidiary Neomobile Securities, against which, it will give $1 billion to SBI. The fund will be used to invest in companies involved in digital technology in sectors like blockchain, fintech, and 5G. This deal is expected to help SMFG utilize SBI’s heavy footprint in the online trading space in Japan. 

However, it will be pretty beneficial to both the entities, as SBi will be able to boost face-to-face consultations to its digital services, and SMFG stands a chance to ramp up its digital offerings. Moreover, SBI and SMFG are planning to establish their digital foothold in Japan, by collaborating with companies working in the digital space.

SBI has already partnered with local banks like Shimane Bank, Fukushima Bank, and Chikuho Bank. SBI is also looking forward to setting up a new company that will offer fintech and common system services to regional banks. SMFG is also investing in this venture, as a part of the latest deal. 

SBI already has close ties with Ripple. So much so, that it plans to offer shareholder dividends in XRP tokens. In fact, SBI CEO, Yoshitaka Kitao is one of Ripple’s board of directors.

Crypto exchanges and firms in Japan are expected to face some regulatory hurdles in the near future, especially after the Japan House of Representatives have amended the Payment Services Act and Financial Instruments and Exchange Act to enforce stricter crypto regulations in the country. Both these acts are scheduled to take effect from May 1. 

 

Pragmatic Play partners with Marathonbet across multiple verticals

GrooveGaming Partners Up QTech Games for Asian Expansion

Casino content aggregator GrooveGaming has announced a partnership with Asia-focused provider QTech Games to further expand its global footprint and explore growth opportunities in established and emerging Asian online gambling markets.

News about GrooveGaming’s new Asian expansion emerge after the company has claimed significant foothold in Europe, Latin America, and Africa.

GrooveGaming points out that its 6 Continents Strategy has been paying off well so far as more and more international iGaming companies have been looking to join forces with the content aggregator.

GrooveGaming’s content platform includes more than 2,500 casino titles as well as aggregated content such as slots, table games, poker products, and live casino titles. Online gambling operators can access the full suite of games via a simple integration process.

The alliance with QTech Games was the latest of a series of partnerships sealed by GrooveGaming in recent months. The content aggregator has also recently teamed up with big industry names such as EveryMatrix, Digitain, iGaming Platform, Quickfire, and ALEA, among others.

QTech Games has itself had particularly busy few weeks as it has announced several key partnerships. Earlier this week, the company announced that it has added content by major developer and provider Yggdrasil to bolster its Asia growth momentum and help its partner deliver on its own growth strategy.

And last week, QTech Games revealed that it has teamed up with Kalamba Games to take the provider’s casino games library live in Asia and a number of emerging markets.

After GVC, Push Gaming Now Partners with William Hill

Online casino content provider Push Gaming has added a new top-tier client to its ever-growing network amid its ongoing transformation from a boutique casino games developer to a full-fledged industry supplier.

The company announced today that it has partnered up British bookmaker William Hill to provide it with its entire slots portfolio.

Popular Push Gaming titles such as Jammin’ Jars, The Shadow Order, and Razor Shark will go live with William Hill. The supplier will keep rolling out content with the operator as it releases new games in future.

The integration will be carried out via Push Gaming’s in-house gaming platform. The provider will be adding content to William Hill’s games library in the coming weeks.

This is the latest major content supply deal announced by Push Gaming in recent days. Last week, the company announced that it has partnered up with another big industry name as it looks to grow its network of clients and its presence across new and existing markets.

Push Gaming revealed last week that it has agreed to supply its content portfolio to GVC Holdings’ online gaming brands, which include Ladbrokes, Coral, and bwin, among others.

Just as with William Hill, Push Gaming’s suite of casino games will be rolled out across GVC’s brands in several phases.

Teaming Up with an Industry Titan

Of their recent partnership with William Hill, Push Gaming’s CEO, James Marshall, said that the legacy British bookmaker is “a titan of the industry and [they] are delighted to be supplying them with a selection of [their] games.”

Mr. Marshall also noted that the first batch to be added to William Hill’s existing offering will include a selection of Push Gaming’s most popular games, with more titles set to be integrated in the coming months.

The supplier’s chief added that their content has “proven to be hugely popular with players all over the world” and that they believe their games will be a big hit with William Hill’s player base, as well.

As mentioned above, Push Gaming is currently transforming its business from a boutique online casino games developer to a full-blown supplier of content for the online gambling industry that manages its own proprietary platform.

The ongoing transformation was boosted by the acquisition of Game Server Integrations (GSI), which Push Gaming announced early this year.

Thanks to the deal, Push Gaming will be able to implement its growth plans throughout the year, which include the introduction of new content as well as of platform feature innovations and in-game mechanics. All these are anticipated to hit the iGaming market in the months to come.

Push Gaming’s titles are all designed to provide an immersive and engaging, mobile-focused gaming experience. Its games are available across all devices and operating systems, including on desktop.

BF Games Partners with Dench eGaming Solutions

Online casino games developer BF Games has signed a deal to add its entire slots collection to the platform managed by iGaming provider Dench eGaming Solutions.

The deal will see Dench’s network of operator partners gain access to BF Games’ library of more than 50 online slots titles, including hit releases such as Book of Gods, Stunning Hot, Bonnie & Clyde, and Aztec Adventure as well as any future slots developed by the ambitious studio.

Based in London and Malta, BF Games was founded by a team of industry veterans. The studio creates innovative slots titles for the dynamic online gaming market. As mentioned earlier, its online casino games library currently includes over 50 titles and more games are planned to be added throughout the year.

Aside from its online gaming suite, BF Games also specializes in the creation of products for the land-based sector, with its offering being available in several European jurisdictions. In addition, the company offers B2C services yet again in several European markets.

The recent partnership with Dench came as part of BF Games’ strategy to constantly expand its market reach. The collaboration with the online gaming provider is also set to enhance Dench’s already hefty content library with a wide range of games based on classic slots themes as well as innovative offering.

Partnership Builds on BF Games’ Momentum

Late last month, Dench was awarded a Recognition Notice by the Malta Gaming Authority that authorized it to offer online gaming platform services to MGA-licensed operators. The Sofia, Bulgaria-based company previously held a Critical Supply License from the MGA that enabled it to provide online casino products.

As for BF Games, its partnership with Dench was the latest of several content distribution deals signed by the games developer in recent months. In February, the company announced that it had taken its entire slots library live with iGaming Platform’s dedicated content aggregation and delivery platform GameHub.

Kalamba Games Partners QTech Games for Asian Expansion

Online casino content supplier Kalamba Games has teamed up with QTech Games in a partnership that saw the former integrate its Remote Gaming Server with the latter.

This latest partnership announced by Kalamba has enabled the provider to enhance its market presence in Asia and emerging markets as part of its strategy to constantly grow its footprint.

QTech specializes in the distribution of casino-style online gaming content across Asian markets where digital gambling has been particularly popular in recent years. Through its in-house platform the company suppliers its network of operator partners with diverse titles via a quick integration.

QTech recently announced its merger with Epic Media, a games reseller that is led by a duo of online gambling industry experts. The deal is set to bolster the position of the content distributor’s platform at the forefront of delivering high-quality online casino games across emerging markets.

QTech’s platform now includes online casino games from Kalamba. With an office in Malta and a development studio in Krakow, Poland, Kalamba produces and supplies content to both real money and social casino operators.

Aside from a number of Asian markets, the content supplier will also be able to expand its footprint in CIS and Latin American markets where QTech boasts solid presence.

Through its latest partnership, Kalamba has made another important step toward further developing its Remote Gaming Server, which is anticipated to be fully launched later this year.

The Ideal Partner

Commenting on teaming up with QTech, Kalamba Head of Sales and Account Management Tamas Kusztos said that their new partner is “a market leader in the Asian market and the ideal partner for us as we look to establish ourselves in the region.”

Mr. Kusztos went on that the team behind QTech “has been really great to work with” and that they are pleased “to be continuing to make positive steps despite current global difficulties.”

QTech CCO Ulf Norder praised Kalamba, saying that it is one of “the most exciting slots developers around with innovative mechanics and features that are very suited for the Asian player.”

Mr. Norder also noted that Kalamba’s Remote Gaming Server is a great addition to their already exciting offering.

QTech’s platform offers various marketing tools, including tournaments and rewards promotions, as well as back-end support such as reporting and responsible gaming tools, and a pretty unique games lobby.

Last month, Kalamba announced that it has partnered up casino games and content aggregator supplier Spinomenal. The deal saw Spinomenal integrate its games portfolio to Kalamba’s Remote Gaming Server product as demand for cross-platform online casino offering has been on the rise.

1X2 Network Partners BetWarrior for LatAm Expansion

Online gaming software group 1X2 Network has been able to boost its presence in the lucrative LatAm region through a recently signed partnership with iGaming operator BetWarrior.

Under the terms of the deal, BetWarrior and its LatAm gambling audience will gain access to 1X2 Network’s portfolio of games, including hit titles such as Rainbow Wilds and Battle Maidens as well as the content developer’s first Megaways slot – Pirate Kingdom Megaways.

The deal will also see BetWarrior go live with any future releases produced by 1X2 Network’s 1X2 Gaming studio and Iron Dog Studio, including the group’s upcoming second Megaways slot title.

BetWarrior is a mobile-focused online sports betting and casino-style gaming operator. It was launched in 2019 and is licensed in Curacao. Latin America has been among BetWarrior’s core markets since the very beginning of its existence on the global iGaming scene.

Commenting on their partnership with 1X2 Network, BetWarrior Casino Product Manager Katalin Horvath said that their latest content supply deal represented another step towards “delivering players the best casino and virtual sports content in the world.”

Ms. Horvath went on that 1X2 Network “is helping BetWarrior further strengthen what is already the leading mobile casino experience on the market.”

LatAm Focus

Of their partnership with BetWarrior, 1X2 Network Country Manager for Italy, Spain, and LatAm Piero Carlucci said that the operator has quickly cemented itself as a leader in the Latin American region and beyond and that they are “delighted to see our games be made available to its players.”

Mr. Carlucci added that this new partnership will further help them establish 1X2 Network as a leading game provider in the region as they have identified Latin America as “a key area of development.”

The partnership between BetWarrior and 1X2 Network will provide the operator with access to Leap Gaming’s entire suite of virtual sports products, including football, horse and greyhound racing, speedway, velodrome cycling, and tennis.

1X2 Network’s deal with BetWarrior marks the latest milestone celebrated by the company this year. In January, the company obtained a B2B supplier license from the Malta Gaming Authority that would further enable it to expand across desired territories.

As for BetWarrior, its partnership with 1X2 Network was the latest the operator has secured to support its LatAm expansion. Late last year, the company announced that it had teamed up with online slots specialist Play’n GO, which has, too, been focused on growing its presence in the region.

It was late in 2019 again when news emerged that BetWarrior has added NETELLER to the list of payment options available to its Brazilian customers. The partnership between the operator and the major eWallet marked the latter’s return to the Brazilian market after a nearly two-year absence.

Wildwood Casino in Colorado partners with ISI

Wildwood Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado, has partnered with ISI Race and Sports, which will provide hardware, software and marketing for the casino’s rollout of sports betting. 

American Gaming Corp (AGC) operates Wildwood Casino. 

“Wildwood has become the market leader for casinos in Cripple Creek and we wanted a partner who could help us achieve the same status for retail and online sports betting,” said Joseph Canfora, CEO of AGC. “We are able to combine our extensive knowledge of the local Colorado market with ISI’s 20 years offering sports betting services and the Amelco betting platform and native mobile apps to create a winning experience for our customers.”

Wildwood Casino opened in 2012 with more than 500 slots, and Colorado is set to launch sports betting by 1 May.

As per the latest blockchain news, Standard Chartered Bank has collaborated with TradeLens. It is a blockchain shipping platform, that was created by IT giant IBM and Danish Logistics. Talking about the collaboration, Standard Chartered global head of trade, Michael Spiegel commented that platforms like TradeLens can potentially promote the sustainability of stakeholders in international trade.
