Casino games supplier Yggdrasil has extended an existing content distribution deal with Betsson Group to the operator’s Betsafe brand in Lithuania, building on a successful partnership with the gambling group that dates back to 2014.
Under its strengthened agreement with Betsson, Yggdrasil would provide its content portfolio and accompanying marketing tools to the gambling operator’s Lithuania-facing Betsafe brand for an exclusive six-month period.
The rollout of games with Betsafe marks Yggdrasil’s entry in the Lithuanian online gambling market. Betsson expanded into Lithuania in 2016 and now runs the betsafe.lt operation in the market. It was namely in 2016 when the nation’s online gambling space was reorganized in a manner that enabled international companies to obtain local licenses and operate in a regulated environment.
As mentioned earlier, the addition of Yggdrasil content to Betsafe’s existing offering represents extension of the provider and the operator’s long-standing partnership that was first formed in 2014. Over the years, Betsson and its brands have gone live with Yggdrasil games in a number of markets, including Denmark, Italy, Spain, and Latvia.
Betsson was one of Yggdrasil’s first clients after the online casino content creator and supplier was established. Lithuania is set to become the latest regulated market Yggdrasil will introduce its games range in.
Content Launch Set for April
Yggdrasil will roll out its library of online casino titles exclusively with Betsafe this coming April. Through its partnership with the provider, Betsson’s Lithuania-facing brand would gain access to popular Yggdrasil titles such as the Vikings trilogy.
In addition, Betsafe will be able to add new release Temple Stacks, the supplier’s first slot to feature the new Splitz mechanic. Yggdrasil’s second Splitz game – Neon Rush – which is set to be rolled out in April – will to be added by Betsafe to boost its Lithuanian offering. The upcoming slot title would offer players the chance to get up to 15 Splitz of a kind and score big wins across six jackpots.
In addition to Yggdrasil’s slots titles, Betsafe will also be able to benefit from the provider’s range of in-game promotional tools, BOOST, that would help the brand drive player engagement and retention in the Lithuanian market.
