Supplier of games and related solutions for the online casino industry Yggdrasil today unveiled a brand new feature that aims to help its operator partners increase engagement and retention.
Yggdrasil’s new product is called Jackpot TopUp and, as its name suggests, it enables online gambling operators to instantly boost prize pools within the provider’s jackpot games and thus increase win potential, while further enhancing player experience.
The new Jackpot TopUp product can be used by Yggdrasil’s operator partners to boost their marketing tools by increasing a jackpot in a game by the provider and running a campaign on said game.
Yggdrasil said that its newest feature can be particularly useful to operators servicing highly competitive and crowded iGaming markets.
Yggdrasil boasts a comprehensive portfolio of local jackpot slots, with Jackpot Raiders, Doctor Fortuno, Holmes & The Stolen Stones, and Ozwin’s Jackpots being some of the most popular ones. The major iGaming content supplier also offers progressive jackpot slots such as Joker Millions and Empire Fortunes.
News about Yggdrasil’s new Jackpot TopUp feature emerge as the provider is also gearing up to release the latest addition to its rapidly growing slots library. That new addition is titled Wilhelm Tell and is slated to hit the market on April 15. The game features 20 paylines, Stacked Wilds, and thrilling multipliers.
Differentiating Operator Offerings
Commenting on the new Jackpot TopUp feature, Yggdrasil Senior Product Strategist Jonas Strandman said that it offers an innovative way for online gambling operators to “incentivise players and further differentiate their offerings.”
Mr. Srandman went on to say that their “simple but highly effective solution can drive additional revenue” for their clients in crowded markets, while offering players even bigger win potential.
The Jackpot TopUp feature is the latest product to join Yggdrasil’s set of tools that aim to offer exciting opportunities for operators to enhance player experience and thus improve retention.
Earlier this year, the provider debuted the Splitz mechanic which offers fans of Yggdrasil’s slots win potential of up to 248,832 pay ways in a game.
Temple Stacks: Splitz was the first slot to feature the Splitz mechanic. With more than 248,000 ways to win, the feature pushes the game’s win potential to 25,000 times a player’s initial stake.
Last week, Yggdrasil announced a Franchise IP licensing agreement with Asia-focused online casino content supplier Flow Gaming. Under that agreement, Flow Gaming would be provided with access to Yggdrasil’s end-to-end development process, the YG platform including its newest Game Adaptation Tools & Interface (GATI) product, its game promotional tools via BOOST, as well as to games developed by Yggdrasil’s YG Masters partners.
