Sydney-based independent online casino studio Lightning Box has celebrated a big milestone in its US expansion effort by securing New Jersey as the first regulated market to license its newest online slot.
Licensed operators in the Garden State and their players will be the first to get their hands on the developer’s latest release, Silver Pride.
This new exciting game takes players to the sweeping plains of the Savannah where they would try to get a glimpse of elusive lions and would look for riches. Along the way, they would encounter different beasts of the Savannah. But when the mighty Silver Pride appears in view, players can expect thrilling bonus rounds with potential for hefty wins.
As all its other titles, the studio has designed this new online slot to feature stunning graphics and an authentic soundtrack that transports players right to the heart of Africa.
Founded in 2004, Lightning Box is a veteran developer of slot games for the international casino industry. Its products are available with a number of gambling operators around the world and via multiple platform providers, including Scientific Games, Microgaming, and High5Casino, among others.
Game Now Available Via SG Digital
Players in New Jersey will be the first to try out Silver Pride before it is released around North America and at Europe-facing online casinos. The game is set to become available to gambling operators via SG Digital, the iGaming arm of Scientific Games.
Commenting on their latest big news, Lightning Box CEO and co-founder Peter Causley said that Silver Pride comes with “big cats, big prizes and big multiplier” and that they are excited that it will “be purring into action first in New Jersey.”
Mr. Causley also thanked the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement for the quick turnaround and said he hopes players really enjoy playing the newest addition to their ever-growing portfolio of online slots.
New Jersey was the first market in the US that Lightning Box launched its products into. The studio entered the Garden State in 2014. Since then it has expanded into several more states where online casino-style gaming is legal.
More recently, Lightning Box debuted its content in Pennsylvania. It entered the Keystone State in the fall of 2020. In early 2021, it also launched its products in Michigan, which had just regulated its iGaming space at the time. In March, Lightning Box announced that it has strengthened its presence in the Great Lakes State through a partnership with Churchill Downs-owned online gambling platform TwinSpires.
