Wazdan to Add Casino Games Range to Salsa Technology’s Platform

Online casino content provider Wazdan today announced that it has partnered Salsa Technology, formerly Patagonia Entertainment, in a move that will see its games range integrated onto its new partner’s Game Aggregation Platform.

The integration will provide online casinos servicing customers from Latin America and Asia with access to Wazdan’s tantalizing slots portfolio.

Hailing from Latin America, Salsa Technology, which recently rebranded from Patagonia Entertainment, has established itself among the leaders in the provision of iGaming solutions in the region.

It services both land-based and online casino operators through its Game Aggregation Platform. Salsa Technology’s portfolio of technology solutions and games is lab certified in Colombia and Mexico, as well as in Asia. The company anticipates to soon obtain certifications in Europe, as well.

Salsa Technology first entered the iGaming industry as a video bingo game developer. While it has expanded its scope of operations significantly since then, it has been holding onto its status and continues to release video bingo titles to the market.

Wazdan’s Partnership with Salsa Technology

Through its recently penned deal with Salsa Technology, Wazdan’s diverse range of gaming titles will be integrated onto its partner’s Game Aggregation Platform. The addition of content will require a single integration.

Titles that are set to soon become available on Salsa Technology’s platform include Larry the Leprechaun, Butterfly Lovers, Magic Stars 9, and Dragons Lucky 8. Hit slots Los Muertos, Valhalla, and the Magic Stars series will, too, be integrated onto the Game Aggregation Platform.

In addition, Salsa Technology will gain access to the nine new games Wazdan plans to release this year. The casino content studio showcased the new titles during the ICE London conference and exhibition show that took place earlier this month.

As mentioned above, Wazdan’s deal with Salsa Technology will enable the content developer and supplier to expand its presence across various LatAm and Asian markets. Earlier this year, the company debuted its games in the Hungarian iGaming market through a partnership with Grand Casino, a locally licensed online gaming operations that was launched after the reorganization of the Hungarian market in 2018.

Excited to Continue LatAm Expansion

Commenting on their partnership with Salsa Technology, Wazdan Head of Sales Andrzej Hyla said that they are thrilled to partner a leader in the LatAm market and to be able to offer their titles to users of the Game Aggregation Platform.

Mr. Hyla went on that they are excited to continue to expand their reach in Latin America and proud to partner a strong developer like Salsa Technology that will support their expansion.

Victor Arias, Global Business Development Manager at Salsa Technology, said that “Wazdan works wonders with its creative casino content, and we couldn’t be happier to add these titles to our GAP.”

Scientific Games will continue to provide its sports betting technologies to William Hill in Europe, building on a long-standing relationship dating back to 2007.

Under the terms of the new agreement, William Hill will utilise Scientific Games’ OpenSports technology on a modular basis. This will enable William Hill to operate with a greater degree of speed and flexibility, including the capability to deploy proprietary products across multiple jurisdictions in Europe.

Jordan Levin, CEO of SG Digital, said: “We’re really building on one of our strongest relationships. The team at William Hill share an ambition to create next level player experiences and together, across sports and online gaming, we’re making that a reality.”

Ulrik Bengtsson, CEO of William Hill, said: “It’s a pivotal time for sports betting and online gaming providers. 888casino to Add Playson’s Full Casino Games Library

Online casino content supplier Playson has secured another major partner as part of its strategy to grow its regulated presence across multiple European markets.

The iGaming provider today announced that it has teamed up with 888casino, the iGaming brand of Gibraltar-headquartered online gambling group 888 Holdings.

Under the terms of the recently signed deal, Playson has agreed to provide 888casino with access to its full library of online slots, including hit titles Solar Queen and Red Chilli Wins as well as new releases such as Fruit Xtreme, the second installment in the provider’s Funky Fruits series.

Playson will integrate its content with 888casino via the Pariplay platform, it also became known. Slots by the game developer will initially go live with the brand’s operations in Sweden, Spain, Denmark, Italy, and Romania. This is set to happen by the end of this year’s first quarter.

Launches in UK and across Gibraltar territories will follow later this year.

888casino is the latest major online casino operation to opt for Playson’s games library. In December, LeoVegas’ popular iGaming brand Royal Panda added content by the supplier to boost its existing offering. LeoVegas’ flagship operation of the same name went live with Playson’s titles in the spring of 2019.

Betzest, Kindred Group, Winbet, and Ninja Casino were also among the big industry names to integrate Playson content last year.

Extending European Reach

Of their partnership with 888casino, Playson Senior Account Manager Christos Zoulianitis said that they are thrilled to be joining forces with such a well-established online gambling operator that has been at the forefront of the industry for well over a decade.

Mr. Zoulianitis went on that their games portfolio will certainly be “a great addition” to 888casino’s offering and that the launch of their titles with the iGaming brand will help them further extend their reach across regulated markets in Europe.

888casino Senior Vice President Guy Cohen commented that they are focused on expanding their offering to customers by both developing proprietary titles and adding games by third-party providers to their unique platform, which they introduced last year.

Mr. Cohen also noted that Playson, their latest content partner, has a fantastic team which has developed “a unique portfolio of games” and that they are excited to add these games to 888casino and thus enhance their player’s experience.

Playson’s portfolio currently includes more than 60 HTML5 games. The company is focused on growing and cementing its foothold across regulated European markets through supply deals with major operators.

Playson is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, Romania’s gambling regulator ONJN, and the Malta Gaming Authority, and its titles are certified in a number of other jurisdictions across Europe.

Microgaming Unveils 2020 Roadmap with 100 Exclusive Casino Games

Isle of Man casino content provider Microgaming once again took part in ICE London, one of the largest and busiest annual gambling industry events, with an iconic stand and an even more iconic selection of soon-to-be-released gaming titles.

During the major conference and exhibition event that took place at ExCeL London last week, Microgaming announced that it would release more than 100 exclusive titles this year and would add another 240 games by third-party provider partners to its content aggregation platform.

Over the three days of the iGaming show, Microgaming, along with nine independent studios it has been working with, showcased some of those forthcoming exclusive games that it will soon roll out across its network of clients.

The game reveals were all pretty spectacular and the celebratory mood at Microgaming’s stand was amped up by a professional DJ.

ICE London Day 1

During the first day of the gaming show, Microgaming unveiled one of several branded games that it is set to roll out on its content aggregator later this year. The Isle of Man-based gaming provider announced the upcoming launch of the Game of Thrones Power Stacks online slot that was developed by Slingshot Studios.

Game of Thrones Power Stacks is the second branded slot celebrating one of the most popular TV shows in the history of television to be distributed by Microgaming.

A busy day on the conference and exhibition floor was wrapped up with an exclusive party for Microgaming’s clients at Peruvian restaurant COYA in the heart of Mayfair in the British capital.

ICE London Day 2

The second day of the show saw Microgaming and Triple Edge Studios unveil a magical world of riches in the new Sisters of Oz progressive slot. The game features the newly revamped WowPot jackpot.

Triple Edge Studios, the studio behind the highly successful Book of Oz slot, also teased the Attack on Retro slot as well as one more progressive slot title – Absolootly Mad – which will feature the hit Mega Moolah progressive jackpot.

Toward the end of the second day of the major event, Microgaming showcased its new deadmau5 branded online slot. The game is inspired by the globally popular electronic music artist’s most recent tour, cube v3.

ICE London Day 3

On the final day of the show, delegates who stopped by Microgaming’s stand were shipped back to 90s action with the reveal of the new Aurora Beast Hunter slot by Just For The Win. The indie gaming studio is also set to release the Treasure Skyland and Anderthals slots later this year.

Several beloved characters will make their return to Microgaming’s content portfolio this year. As announced earlier this month, Microgaming will soon release its second Tarzan slot. Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar was developed by Fortune Factory Studios and is set to be rolled out four years after the original Tarzan slot came out.

Acclaimed explorer Victoria and industrious inventor Maximillian will also return in Fortunium Gold, a new slot from Stormcraft Studios. That game will, too, feature the WowPot jackpot.

Rivalo Marks Colombian Online Casino Expansion with MGA Games Deal

Sports betting operator Rivalo has penned a content supply deal with Spanish iGaming provider MGA Games to spearhead its entry into Colombia’s online casino market.

Under its recently inked partnership, Rivalo, which has already been authorized to provide online sports betting services to Colombian customers, will now be offering casino games as well.

The gambling operator has gained access to MGA Games’ entire portfolio of games to offer these to its Colombian players. Headquartered in Spain, MGA Games says that it has already secured “a long-lasting operating presence” in the Latin American region, which has become an extremely attractive destination for major industry operators and content suppliers in recent years.

Rivalo’s customers in Colombia can now play MGA Games titles such as slot hits Lucky Dragon and Wild Africa as well as video bingo games such as Circus Bingo, Magician, Mariachis, Zeus, and Sea, among others.

Rivalo is a German sports betting brand that was established more than 10 years ago and has been making waves in the global online gambling field for the past of decade. The operator entered the Colombian online sports betting market in 2018.

As part of the regulation of the Colombian online gambling market, the local regulator, Coljuegos, issued the first license for the provision of services in a regulated environment in 2016. The agency has granted more than 15 licenses to interested companies since then, and Rivalo is one of the holders of such licenses.

Aside from Colombia, Rivalo has also cemented its presence in multiple other LatAm jurisdictions, including Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Brazil.

A Significant Milestone

Commenting on their entry into Colombia’s online casino space, Álvaro José Mosquera, country manager for the bookmaker for Colombia, said that the start of their casino offering in the local market marks an important milestone in “the development and positioning of the Rivalo brand as a premium betting house in Colombia.”

The official went on that they are well aware players want the best and that is why their growth strategy in Colombia involved launching their casino offering only after “achieving important adoption and penetration goals from our sports betting operation.”

Mr. Mosquera also noted that the roll out of casino games in Colombia would go hand in hand with an integral communication strategy, which soon all Colombian players will be able to see.

MGA Games CEO José Antonio Giacomelli commented that the Colombian market was an important target for them since its regulation in 2016 and that when it comes to localized online casino content for global gambling operators, they are now regarded in Colombia “as a major specialized company.”

Habanero Marks Colombian iGaming Market Entry with Codere

Of their partnership with Rivalo, Mr. Giacomelli said that the fact that the betting operator picked their offering to set foot in the Colombian casino games industry is a complete honor and that they anticipate a “very promising collaboration” that will bring them “one step further in our company strategy.”

Gambling and Casino Games via Social Media and Online Technologies at Prague Gaming Summit 2020

Hot Topic: Gambling and Casino Games via Social Media and Online Technologies at Prague Gaming Summit 2020

Hot discussions about social gambling and how social media is changing the way of prospecting players at Prague Gaming Summit 2020.

Lately, more and more gambling operators have been launching social media games on Facebook, Google+, Bebo, and even MySpace in order to reach more players. Up until the social media gaming giant Zynga launched real money poker on Facebook to their U.K. players in early 2014, all of the social gambling apps on social media were free.

According to Facebook’s guidelines, real money gambling on Facebook is only allowed in specific countries with prior authorization from Facebook. Since only a handful of countries actually meet the criteria, it’s likely that the free games and apps are here to stay and will dominate the social gambling market.

Some of the most popular social gambling games and casino apps on Facebook include free slots, free Texas Hold’em poker, and free blackjack. You can play by yourself, with your friends, or with strangers.

Social gaming is a $2.7 billion industry, which is saying a lot because an overwhelming majority of the casino games available on Facebook are free casino games that do not require real cash to play. The gambling operators make their money by offering their players in-game benefits, currencies, and virtual goods that can be bought with real money or Facebook credits, which are acquired with cold hard cash as well.

Social casinos pull in millions and millions of Facebook users on a daily basis. About 20% of those users (or hundreds of thousands of players in other words) have paid real cash for in-game goods, benefits, and currencies. The market for social gambling is booming, and it’s only getting bigger and bigger, as more and more big names in the gambling industry are joining in on the fun.

Underage mobile gamers have the opportunity to play social casino games using apps like Double Down Casino, Slotomania, and Zynga. A social casino game is free to play and does not offer real money rewards. Still, simulated casino games get children used to rules and habits of gambling, while introducing them to the brands they might use later on.

At the 4th edition of Prague Gaming Summit you have the unique opportunity to hear more about the subject in the “Gambling And Casino Games Via Social Media And Online Technologies” panel discussion which will be joined by ElinaSafargulova (Head of Marketing at Slotegrator), Daniele Alfonso (Head of Gaming at iovation) and Jan Urbanec (CEO at Endorphina).

The discussion will be moderated by Zlatan Omerspahić (Head of Legal and Compliance, Data Protection Officer at NSoft Company).
