Marathonbet Expands Offering with Pragmatic Play Casino Content

Pragmatic Play has added online sports betting and gaming operator Marathonbet to its list of clients that has been growing rapidly over the past several months.

News emerged that Marathonbet and Pragmatic Play have recently teamed up in a move that would see the wagering operator diversify its offering with content from the renowned provider.

Established in 1997, Marathonbet provides its services in a number of markets and offers a wider range of wagering and casino-style gaming products.

As part of its partnership with Pragmatic Play the operator will gain access to the provider’s slots library, which includes a number of top-performing titles such as Wolf Gold and the John Hunter series.

Marathonbet would also be able to add Pragmatic Play’s rapidly growing Live Casino range to its existing offering.

Pragmatic Play ventured into the lucrative Live Casino sector in early 2019. The company debuted its Live Casino titles at that year’s ICE London exhibition show and has since then added a number of new products to boost its Live Casino range.

Earlier this year, the provider debuted three language-dedicated roulette tables to boost its offering. And last month, it unveiled its Baccarat and Speed Baccarat games as well as a new Roulette Macao title.

Launching across Several Strategic Markets

Commenting on their partnership with Marathonbet, Pragmatic Play Head of Account Management Albert Pesca said that they are delighted to launch their products with the sports betting operator across several strategic markets.

Mr. Pesca went on to say that their product roadmap continues to grow and that their Live Casino portfolio in particular has proved to be “a fantastic success.”

The Pragmatic Play official further elaborated that with their Marathonbet partnership they have added another “impressive operator” to their client base and that they are delighted to provide Marathonbet customers with the opportunity to play their games.

Marathonbet is the latest major sports betting operator to have teamed up with Pragmatic Play in recent weeks. Late last month, the provider announced a partnership with BetVictor.

Commenting on the addition of Pragmatic Play content, Marathonbet CEO Natalia Zavodnik said that they are very pleased and proud to be offering Pragmatic Play’s games and that the provider’s “wide-ranging portfolio has a number of impressive performers, while the Live Casino games have developed significant momentum since launch.”

Ms. Zavodnik went on that they can’t wait to see how the sports betting operator’s customers receive Pragmatic Play’s content, including the provider’s slots titles as well as its Live Casino content.

Google Identity Verification Process Expands to All Advertisers

Google will soon begin to require all of its advertisers to verify their identities and countries of origin in order to be able to run their ads.

The new identification rules will also apply to gambling advertisers buying and running ads on the US technology giant’s platform.

Google’s identification policy was first introduced in 2018 and was reserved for political ads only. It requires all advertisers looking to run election ads on the company’s platform to confirm their identity. That identity is displayed in the ad unit and Google users can easily learn more about the ad itself and the individuals/organizations behind it.

Since the introduction of Google’s political ads identification program, the tech giant has been able to verify political advertisers in more than 30 countries.

Providing Greater Transparency

In a blog post published this past Thursday, John Canfield, Director of Product Management, Ads Integrity at Google, said that they are now working to “bring more transparency into the advertiser behind the ads people see.”

All advertisers looking to run ads on the company’s platform will be required to complete a verification process in order to be able to do so. They will need to submit personal identification, business incorporation documents, and/or other information that proves their identity and their country of origin.

Google advertisers will have a 30-day window to submit all the required information. If they fail to do so or fail the tech firm’s verification processes, their paid online ads will not be served any longer.

Mr. Canfield explained that “this change will make it easier for people to understand who the advertiser is behind the ads they see from Google and help them make more informed decisions.”

Phased Roll-out of New Rules

The implementation of Google’s new verification program will be carried out in several phases. The company will start verifying advertisers in the US and will expand the scheme globally over time. Google expects the process to take a few years to complete.

The tech giant said that it would prioritize advertisers that promote informational or educational content as well as advertisers that promote heavily regulated industries like gambling, gaming, and health.

While the size and scale of the project suggests that it will take some time to complete, Google said that users will start seeing some disclosures from the summer. Information about advertisers will be accessible through a tab when users hover over a paid ad in Google.

Mr. Canfield said that the new verification policy will further help them deliver their goal to “make more information about the ad experience universally available and accessible and that they will continue to look for “additional ways to increase transparency in ads for our users.”

NetEnt Expands in Switzerland Thanks to New ISO 27001 Certification

Online casino games supplier NetEnt announced that it was awarded the global standard ISO 27001 certification that would enable it to enter new regulated markets.

The first such new regulated market NetEnt entered after it obtained the ISO 27001 certification was Switzerland.

The ISO 27001 certification is awarded to companies that prove commitment to information security management. The testing and certification process covers protection of sensitive information as well as development, infrastructure, and network configuration.

Of the recently received certification, Henrik Fagerlund, Managing Director of NetEnt’s Maltese operation, said that it is “an important acknowledgment” for the company and the result of “dedicated and hard work from our team.”

Mr. Fagerlund went on to say that NetEnt prides itself “on being a reliable, trustworthy, and secure partner” to its customers and their players.

Aside from demonstrating its commitment to data security management, the ISO 27001 certification also enables the casino content supplier to enter new regulated territories and participate in World Lottery Association procurements which has not been possible before.

Swiss Expansion

Switzerland has become the first regulated territory NetEnt has debuted its content portfolio in since the company obtained its ISO 27001 certification last week.

The Swedish provider said that its casino games content is now live with the online gaming operations of Grand Casino Luzern and Grand Casino Baden.

Switzerland reorganized its iGaming market last summer, and Grand Casino Luzern and Grand Casino Baden were among the first local land-based casinos to go live with gambling websites.

The integration of NetEnt content with Grand Casino Luzern was carried out via Paf’s iGaming platform, while the integration with Grand Casino Baden took place via the Gamanza platform.

The Swedish iGaming content supplier said that it is on track to roll out its games portfolio with several other Switzerland-licensed gambling operators in the coming months.

Delivering on Growth Strategy

Commenting on their Swiss market entry, Mr. Fagerlund said that the move was part of their efforts to continue to deliver on their strategy to “grow by strengthening our position in regulated markets.”

The official added that they are pleased to have taken “this step into the Swiss market and look forward to launching our award-winning games with even more operators soon.”

The newly obtained ISO 27001 certification will also enable Red Tiger to offer NetEnt Group solutions in markets where such certification is required.

NetEnt acquired fellow gambling content provider Red Tiger last fall. The Swedish group announced last month that it initiated a restructuring to accelerate the full integration of Red Tiger with its new parent organization.

It became known that the restructuring included laying off 120 employees, mostly ones based in NetEnt’s Stockholm and Malta offices.

NetEnt said that the full integration would “strengthen competitiveness and increase value creation in the company.”

Soft2Bet Expands in India with Four Brands

Multi-brand online casino and digital sportsbook operator Soft2Bet has entered a new market as part of its continued effort to constantly expand its presence.

The company announced today that it has marked its debut in the Indian iGaming and online sports betting market with the launch of four of its brands in the country.

Wazamba, Rabona, Nomini, and Campobet have been the four Soft2Bet-owned operations to have gone live in India.

The online gambling operator also revealed plans to take the rest of its brands live in the Indian market in the near future.

With population of more than 1.3 billion people, India is seen as an emerging market with huge growth opportunities. Soft2Bet said that its entry into that market demonstrates it worldwide appeal as it continues to grow its presence across new markets around the world.

Soft2Bet’s portfolio currently includes 16 online casino and sports betting brands. The innovative sportsbook Rabona was the latest operation to join the company’s ever-growing library.

Rabona is named after the popular football skill and aims to bring gamification to sports wagering. The online sportsbook’s in-built gamification tool enables bettors to collect cards with popular football teams and players, in addition to the traditional sports betting experience offered by the brand.

Indian Expansion

Soft2Bet’s Indian debut includes both online casinos, which are extremely popular among local gambling customers due to their gamification, as well as online sportsbooks, which, among other sports, offer wagering on cricket – India’s most popular sport.

Commenting on Soft2Bet venturing into India, the operator’s Chief Business Development Officer, Uri Poliavich, said that they are delighted to have taken their products to market in India and thrilled to deliver their gaming and betting experience to “an exciting new audience.”

Of their global expansion campaign, Mr. Poliavich said that “global expansion is a key tenet for Soft2Bet, and placing our brands in front of such a large market is sure to lead to some very interesting opportunities in the future.”

News about Soft2Bet’s Indian debut emerge a couple of weeks after the gambling operator has entered Sweden’s regulated iGaming space with its YoYo Casino brand. Soft2Bet was able to enter the Swedish market after it obtained a license from the local regulator, Spelinspektionen, late last year.

It was late last year again when the gambling operator announced its entry into another Asian market. Soft2Bet launched its AlfCasino brand in Japan to explore growth opportunities in the lucrative Japanese iGaming space.

Last month, the operator announced a partnership with Playtech to take more than 100 premium gaming titles from the provider’s portfolio live across its online casino brands.

Online casino content supplier Red Tiger has further extended its foothold in the lucrative Swedish iGaming market through a supply deal with Sweden’s former gambling monopoly Svenska Spel.

Under the terms of that deal, Red Tiger has integrated and successfully launched its slots collection with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, the online gaming business of the Swedish gambling operator.

Hit titles such as Mystery Reels and Pirates’ Plenty – Battle for Gold can now be accessed by Svenska Spel players.

The addition of Red Tiger’s slots library to the operator’s existing offering happened via SG Digital’s OGS platform.

Jonas Nygren, VP Casino at Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, commented that they are thrilled with this latest integration and that he has no doubt Red Tiger’s engaging slots will “make a strong addition to our product offering.”

Mr. Nygren went on that the deal with Red Tiger “reinforces our reputation for providing immersive entertainment experiences to a wide range of players” and that they are looking forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.

Svenska Spel is the first World Lottery Association member Red Tiger has delivered its slots range to.

The provider’s partnership with the Swedish operator was the latest revealed this month. Red Tiger announced earlier that it has teamed up with rapidly growing iGaming group Glitnor and has agreed to supply the company with its entire games library.

Red Tiger’s games are now available across Glitnor’s Lucky Casino and Gambola brands. The deal enabled Red Tiger to extend its reach across core Nordic markets, the rest of regulated Europe and Japan where both Lucky Casino and Gambola enjoy great popularity.

Wildz Casino Expands Offering with Red Rake Gaming

Spain- and Malta-based casino content studio Red Rake Gaming has become the latest industry supplier to roll out its games with rapidly growing iGaming brand Wildz.

A recently signed partnership between Red Rake and Wildz owner Rootz has given the online casino access to the provider’s entire slots library.

As a result, Red Rake-developed hit titles such as Super12Stars, a feature and bonus rounds-packed slot, Tiger & Dragon, which features 1 million ways to win, and cluster slot Gustav Minebuster, which gives players the chance to win 20,000x, are now all live with Wildz.

Wildz was launched in the summer of 2019 as the first Rootz-owned online casino brand. Although it has been part of the highly competitive online gaming industry for just a few months, Wildz has grown rapidly and has increased significantly its offering in a bid to appeal to a wider gambling audience and cement itself in the space.

Shortly after the launch of its brand, Rootz obtained a B2C license from the Malta Gaming Authority. The online gambling operator is pursuing licenses from other regulators, as well, to extend its footprint in as many regulated iGaming markets as possible.

Rootz’s partnership with Red Rake was the latest of a series of such deals signed between the gambling operator and content providers. It emerged late last week that Wildz has also gone live with the entire library of Malta-based games developer Booming Games.

A Welcome Addition

Commenting on the addition of a new client to their ever-growing network, Nick Barr, Managing Director for Red Rake’s Malta operations, said that they are thrilled to be working with the Wildz team and that “it’s incredible to see what they have achieved in such a short period of time.”

Mr. Barr went on that they are looking forward to being part of the online casino’s continued growth and delivery of an industry leading product.

Rootz Chief Operating Officer Tony Kjäldström said that they are pleased to join forces with Red Rake and to offer their entire slots portfolio at Wildz. The official went on that the provider delivers quality titles that will be a welcome addition to our casino in particular.”

Mr. Kjäldström also noted Red Rake’s replay feature “will be sure to generate interest, especially among seasoned casino players” and that “more important than these extra features is the overall quality of the games [which] Red Rake Gaming absolutely delivers.”

In addition to Booming Games and Red Rake, Wildz Casino has also recently launched content from Pragmatic Play and Kalamba Games.
