Soft2Bet Expands in India with Four Brands

Multi-brand online casino and digital sportsbook operator Soft2Bet has entered a new market as part of its continued effort to constantly expand its presence.

The company announced today that it has marked its debut in the Indian iGaming and online sports betting market with the launch of four of its brands in the country.

Wazamba, Rabona, Nomini, and Campobet have been the four Soft2Bet-owned operations to have gone live in India.

The online gambling operator also revealed plans to take the rest of its brands live in the Indian market in the near future.

With population of more than 1.3 billion people, India is seen as an emerging market with huge growth opportunities. Soft2Bet said that its entry into that market demonstrates it worldwide appeal as it continues to grow its presence across new markets around the world.

Soft2Bet’s portfolio currently includes 16 online casino and sports betting brands. The innovative sportsbook Rabona was the latest operation to join the company’s ever-growing library.

Rabona is named after the popular football skill and aims to bring gamification to sports wagering. The online sportsbook’s in-built gamification tool enables bettors to collect cards with popular football teams and players, in addition to the traditional sports betting experience offered by the brand.

Indian Expansion

Soft2Bet’s Indian debut includes both online casinos, which are extremely popular among local gambling customers due to their gamification, as well as online sportsbooks, which, among other sports, offer wagering on cricket – India’s most popular sport.

Commenting on Soft2Bet venturing into India, the operator’s Chief Business Development Officer, Uri Poliavich, said that they are delighted to have taken their products to market in India and thrilled to deliver their gaming and betting experience to “an exciting new audience.”

Of their global expansion campaign, Mr. Poliavich said that “global expansion is a key tenet for Soft2Bet, and placing our brands in front of such a large market is sure to lead to some very interesting opportunities in the future.”

News about Soft2Bet’s Indian debut emerge a couple of weeks after the gambling operator has entered Sweden’s regulated iGaming space with its YoYo Casino brand. Soft2Bet was able to enter the Swedish market after it obtained a license from the local regulator, Spelinspektionen, late last year.

It was late last year again when the gambling operator announced its entry into another Asian market. Soft2Bet launched its AlfCasino brand in Japan to explore growth opportunities in the lucrative Japanese iGaming space.

Last month, the operator announced a partnership with Playtech to take more than 100 premium gaming titles from the provider’s portfolio live across its online casino brands.

LeoVegas has migrated 12 of its UK brands onto its own in-house platform.

The operator’s UK brands, which fall under the collective name Rocket X, have been migrated from a third-party platform solution and will now be run on LeoVegas’ proprietary technical platform.

The brands include 21.co.uk, Bet UK and Pink Casino among others.

According to LeoVegas, the switch now means the operator has full control over its technology, reducing the complexity of daily operations.

Gustaf Hagman, LeoVegas CEO, said: “This is a milestone for the entire group, but above all for our technology organisation and all of our employees who work in the UK market.

“I am incredibly impressed by how the migration was carried out in a short time and during a period and situation in which our people are working from home.

“It shows that our culture of empowered and determined employees is a competitive advantage.

“The migration to our own platform makes us even more scalable, and our brands in the UK will now be able to benefit from all of the innovation that is developed on our platform.”

Soft2Bet to Add Playtech Slots Suite across 17 Brands

Playtech’s hot streak of important announcements continues into the new week as it became known this morning that the gambling software giant has inked a multi-year content delivery deal with online casino and sports betting operator Soft2Bet.

This recently forged partnership enables Soft2Bet to launch more than 100 premium Playtech-crafted games across its many online casino brands.

Growing rapidly and making a name for itself in the provision of iGaming and wagering services, Soft2Bet currently manages 17 tailor-made online casinos and sportsbooks. The operator celebrated the launch of its newest brand – Rabona – late last year.

Named after the popular football skill, Rabona was the sixth sports betting operation to go live under the Soft2Bet umbrella. The brand features a unique gamification tool that provides bettors with the opportunity to collect cards with popular football teams and players by earning points with every bet they place.

Soft2Bet players across its gaming brands can currently access casino titles from more than 30 top-tier industry providers as well as from emerging game development studios. Its online casinos are available in a number of lucrative markets, including Japan after Soft2Bet ventured into the Asian nation with its AlfCasino operation.

Delivering “Richer, More Varied Experience”

As part of its deal with Playtech, Soft2Bet will be able to add more than 100 premium games delivered by Playtech, including slots, progressive jackpot titles, and table games. The titles will be available across all of the operator’s brands.

The addition of Playtech’s content will further enrich Soft2Bet’s offering and would strengthen the company as it looks to expand its international presence and enter more regulated markets.

Commenting on their multi-year partnership with Playtech, Soft2Bet Head of Casino Teodora Breskovska said that the provider has secured them with access to premium quality slot games that are “top performers in our key markets.”

Ms. Breskovska went on that their players would be particularly “thrilled to access” some of the most popular jackpot titles in the iGaming industry that are worth hundreds of thousands in prize money.

The Playtech official added that “with a carefully selected mix of branded titles, original content and games supported by major jackpots, we’re confident we can help Soft2Bet deliver an even richer, more varied experience for their players.”

Last week, Playtech announced several important partnerships with major gambling operators. The company signed a four-year deal with British bookmaker Betfred for the delivery of its Casino, Live Casino, Bingo, and Poker suite to the operator.

It was last week again when Playtech and its long-term partner GVC Holdings announced the launch of three new Live Roulette tables for the Spanish online gambling market.

Red Tiger Launches Casino Titles across Glitnor Brands

Online casino games developer and software provider Red Tiger continues its streak of important partnerships with a recently signed content supply deal with rapidly growing iGaming group Glitnor.

The partnership will see Red Tiger expand its presence across core existing markets as well as new territories, while boosting the offering available on Glitnor’s flagship online casino brands.

After a successful integration, Red Tiger announced today that its entire games library is now available across Glitnor’s Lucky Casino and Gambola operations. This means that players at the two online casinos now have access to titles such as Pirates’ Plenty, Pirates’ Plenty – Battle for Gold, Dragon’s Luck Megaways, and Eagle Riches, among others.

Aside from its slots range, Red Tiger has also provided its newest partner and its iGaming operations with access to its daily and hourly jackpots.

The software provider debuted its Daily Drop Jackpot Network in April 2019. Red Tiger’s jackpots offering was received quite well by players in a number of regulated markets. The company stepped up its jackpot game later in 2019 with the introduction of hourly jackpot prizes.

News about Red Tiger going live with Glitnor’s brands arrive hot on the heels of last week’s launch of the provider’s content with online gambling operator Premier Gaming. The operator’s Pronto Casino and Premier Live Casino now offer Red Tiger’s entire slots library in addition to content from other providers.

Expansion in Lucrative Markets

Red Tiger’s partnership with Glitnor would enable the provider to extend its reach across core Nordic markets, the rest of Europe, and Japan where both Lucky Casino and Gambola boast a large customer base.

Commenting on their partnership with Glitnor, Red Tiger Commercial Director Chris Looney said that the group is one of the fastest growing iGaming companies and that the deal “highlights the worldwide appeal of our content.”

Glitnor Group Director Martin Sidenvall said that “Red Tiger has a fantastic reputation for producing top quality games, and we’re thrilled to announce this commercial agreement with them.”

The gaming group’s director went on that “delivering the best slots to our customers is paramount for us, and it’s great that our players now have access to Red Tiger’s titles and the great functionality that comes with them.”

It should be noted that aside from its B2C gaming brands, Glitnor is also the company behind newly established online casino content provider Swintt. While it may be an industry newcomer, Swintt already boasts a nice portfolio of more than two dozens of titles, including the Master of Books, Legendary, and Heart of Earth slots.

Glitnor also runs the Dora Mahjong real money player-to-player Mahjong brand. The omni-channel operation provides players with the opportunity to choose from several cash game tables or take part in tournies. The brand focuses on the Japanese iGaming market.

GiG Sells B2C Casino, Betting Brands to Focus on B2B Growth

Gaming Innovation Group announced today that it has agreed to sell its B2C division to gambling operator Betsson Group in a bid to focus on its B2B operations, “reduce complexity and improve efficiency.”

Under the terms of the deal, Betsson will pay the amount of €31 million on the day the transaction closes. The aforementioned amount will include €22.3 million in cash payment for the acquisition, plus a prepaid platform fee of €8.7 million.

GiG will use proceeds from the transaction to repay its SEK300 million 2017-2020 bond.

GiG’s portfolio of B2C brands includes the Rizk, Guts, Kaboo, and Thrills casino and sports betting websites. Under the terms of the deal, Betsson will keep all four brands operational on GiG’s proprietary iGaming platform for at least 30 months.

During the first 24 months, Betsson will pay a premium platform fee based on net gaming revenue generated. Based on the estimated platform fees, the total value of the sale is expected to reach approximately €50 million.

The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close by mid-April.

GiG said that its decision to offload its B2C business was the result of a strategic review the gambling group initiated last November. The review further resulted in an “evolved strategic direction” prompting the company to “reduce complexity and improve efficiency.”

Focus on B2B Business

The sale of its B2C division will free up resources and will enable GiG to fully dedicate its attention on driving and growing its B2B operations. The company explained that it sees “a large and sustainable addressable market for its platform business” as iGaming continues to become a regulated industry in a number of jurisdictions.

GiG also believes that through its omni-channel platform, it is well positioned to capitalize on the continued digital transformation of the global gambling market.

As part of the recently launched strategic review of its operations, GiG has also decided to make its technical platform “sportsbook agnostic” and to team up with other betting technology providers to offer the best possible solutions to its clients.

Under its deal with Betsson, the gambling operator will integrate its sportsbook solution on GiG’s platform. The two companies will thus be able to sell their B2B solutions without conflict of their B2C brands.

To further spearhead the growth of its sportsbook, GiG said that it would seek joint ventures and other collaborations with gambling companies to “release the true asset value” of the solution.

The gambling group plans to seek partners for the growing US market. Here it is important to note that GiG is one of just several B2B providers that offer omni-channel online gambling services in multiple states around the US.

Management’s Comments

Of the acquisition of GiG’s B2C business, Betsson CEO Pontus Lindwall said that they believe the deal offers a good opportunity for his company to consolidate, create synergies, and apply our core B2C skills and marketing insights to scale these assets to their true potential.”

Mr. Lindwall went on that their agreement with GiG will also further strengthen and expand their outreach and growth potential for their proprietary sportsbook solution and payments platforms in the international B2B market.

GiG Chief Executive Officer Richard Brown commented that the transaction enables them to focus their efforts towards the B2B segment and that while “offering both B2C and B2B services had synergies” in the past, the “current conflicting priorities of the two business areas, and increased complexity in the market, have lessened the potential offering on both fronts and our ability to sign new customers.”

Of the integration of Betsson’s proprietary sportsbook into their platform, Mr. Brown said that this would not only provide “cost saving synergies”, but would also allow them to offer one of “the most well-renowned European sportsbooks to our current and future B2B partners.”
