1X2 Network has appointed gaming veteran Gordon Lotter as its Chief Technology Officer.
Lotter has previously held technology roles across the gaming industry, having worked for Playtech, Evolution and Extreme Live Gaming.
For 16 years, he specialised in Java development, but more recently he has held positions that focused on management and oversaw the operations of technology teams.
As the network’s new CTO, he will manage technology teams and oversee the technical side of the company across its subsidiaries, 1X2 Gaming and Iron Dog Studio.
The role includes ensuring the company enhances its technological offering and that technical enhancements are integrated successfully with other factions of the business.
Kevin Reid, Chief Commercial Officer at 1X2 Network, said: “I am delighted to welcome Gordon to the team and for us to be able to leverage his incredible expertise and experience.
“Technology is the foundation of our business and Gordon will ensure we continue to push boundaries and innovate when it comes to tech.”
Reid said Lotter has joined the company at a time when it and its subsidiaries are experiencing “rapid growth.”
Lotter himself added: “It is a great honour to join 1X2 Network as CTO and to be given the opportunity to help grow the business through technology.
“I am also looking forward to working with the incredible people across the business, and to motivate and inspire them to do what they do best; develop some of the most entertaining games in the market.
“Of course, this is all underpinned by technology, and I am excited by the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience to help 1X2 Network continue to grow at pace.”
